Dulcinea comes by her dressage talent and trainability naturally via her exceptional pedigree. Her sire, DeLaurentis (DeNiro) is well known for his gaits, and superior temperament, character and willingness.  Dulcinea's dam, EM Wruffian Q (Weltbekannt) has produced numerous USA Dressage Finalists in-hand and under-saddle including Dulcinea's half brother Don Frederic HVH who earned two USDF Horse of the Year titles in 2013 as well as being a finalist in the USEF Young Horse Dressage Championships in 2012 and numerous breed and region titles.

Dulcinea will mature to 16.1H+ and has natural beauty, grace and elegance. She has 3 elastic and correct gaits that are easy-to-sit, nicely forward thinking and delightfully sensitive. She has exceptional rhythm, outstanding trainability and rideability, which coupled with her gaits and elegance she will clearly suit an amateur rider.  Dulcinea was born and raised and completed her initial training at High Valley Hanoverians.   She was backed in early 2013 and has been in full professional training since that time.  Dulcinea's training is via the unique High Valley Hanoverians program “Developing Hanoverian Athletes in the Mind & the Body” ®.  This program is known for producing quality young dressage horses with a rock-solid dressage foundation, are in super physical condition due to the combined training and mountain hill work and have an exceptional work ethic due to being truly happy in their work. Dulcinea is flourishing in this program and well on her way to demonstrating her dressage performance potential.

During the 2014 show season Dulcinea competed in Intro and Training Level Dressage earning scores in the 70's by both a professional and an Adult Amateur rider.   She is ready to go to a performance home with an amateur rider where she will prove to be an uncomplicated and talented equine partner.  As a secondary breeding career later down the road, Dulcinea has achieved the status of Elite Eligible Mare with the American Hanoverian Society and will become an Elite Mare Candidate whe she is successfully show at 2nd level dressage or completes her Mare Performance Test.   She would then become an Elite Hanoverian Mare with the production of her first Hanoverian offspring.
